Been busy for the past month, but here’s a really quick doodle I did last year for a friend who loves 2B~

Just finished watching episode 14 of CCS: Clear Card! I think it’s one of my favourites yet. UwU

Ahhh!! I’m going to miss the first ending for the anime, though… they could have used it for another hundred episodes and I would not have complained at all. I mean, the new one is cute (albeit a bit spoilery) but I just LOVED “Jewelry” from the song to the aesthetics and nostalgic references.

I drew this because of that, but also because I miss the awkward, dorky, hot-tempered Syaoran from the original series, so I appreciate the moments when he still acts flustered~

It’s no secret that I dislike winter, but it gets really difficult for me. It’s cold, dark, everything is dreary and the wait for spring long. I’m still waiting for spring to arrive – even just the other day we got another inch or two of snow.
So I wanted to try and give myself a break to draw a bunch of my favourite things to make the wait for spring easier… literally and metaphorically.

On another note, this morning I created a Ko-fi page.

Aww… a Thursday without Yuru Camp. I’m going to miss it more than I thought I would.
It was so cute and relaxing, I looked forward to watching it each week.

I really liked Nadeshiko and Rin. uwu Especially Rin, she had a good aesthetic sense~
Their relationship was pretty sweet too.

Happy first day of spring everyone!! It’s an important day for me in many ways. Although we Manitobans still have snow on the ground and it’s even snowing today (yuck) it’s a promise that winter HAS indeed ended and the weather will turn warm again and the days will have more sun.

I haven’t been able to draw much for the past while, so this is a picture I drew for my friend Tori’s birthday in February. It’s her character, Celeste, who loves nature and photography. ^^

I’d been wanting to draw teenage Viktor for a while – I thought working on a commission sample would be a good time to do it, but I spent this ended up taking longer than I expected.
It was a joy to work on, though. ^^

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!

I started drawing this as a quick attempt to try some new CSP brushes I downloaded, and I was just waking up when I first sketched it so it has some issues… and I totally spent more time on it than I should have. Either way I like how it turned out and it’s always pleasing to draw Seto and Mary together. They’re so cute and I’ll never be over them~ ♥

I thought I’d share this today simply because it’s a drawing of a couple, however I hope everyone looking at this has a wonderful Valentines Day. And remember, regardless of whether you have a significant other or not, there’s always friends, family, teachers, pets, etc that love you and yes, it does count!

I’ve been watching my sister play Final Fantasy XV recently.
So far, Prompto is definitely one of my favourites of the boys, alongside Ignis.
This is a fairly quick picture (completed it in an evening) and I kind of want to draw all four boys with flowers like this but I’m not sure if I’ll get around to it!

My mom gave me The Art of Persona 5 for Christmas, and I have to say, I really love that book.
Though there’s a lot of good information, concept art and story development in the book, I found the sketches to be particularly inspiring.

I’m very much a perfectionist in all parts of my life and it’s easy for me to get lost in the details. When it comes to art, often I want a certain amount of polish to what I post. I don’t think this way with other people’s art, yet I do with mine… it’s frustrating and suffocating, sometimes. I’m always working at easing up on wanting things perfect, but it takes time and sometimes, extra reminders.

Which is sort of what the sketches in this art book did for me – they were a reminder. The concept sketches were very rough, they have mistakes, often lack colour or even shading etc etc etc – but they also had emotion, movement, weight to them… I can’t really explain it. But it was a nice reminder that unfinished works have worth too. It moved me somehow, so I snuck some time Christmas day to draw this. : )

Also, I love P5 and there’s probably gonna be more fanart for it from me in the near future!!
