I thought “Yellow” was a really sweet song, and it made me feel inspired to draw miku in the colour yellow. But I didn’t like the outfit she wore in the PV. So I designed my own.
It’s not much, though. I originally tried something with a more dramatic pose, and more accessories but I just couldn’t get it to work for me! I’m a little sad about that, but this turned out okay, too. I like the hair and colours..

HOPEFULLY the colours show up okay on everybody’s screens. As a JPG, it looks ugly on mine. But on my sister’s it looks more like the original, so I can only hope the majority of screens are like hers.. OTL

Shevi and I found some Love Is War cosplay version of Rin and Len Kagamine from Vocaloid.
I thought it looked pretty awesome, and felt like doodling some chibis~!

This probably took me under an hour, but that’s really just an estimate. It’s so easy to lose track of time when working.. ^^;

Lol I actually have another vocaloid picture to post.. hopefully after this I’ll finally focus on other fandoms or something. I love vocaloid, but I need other stuff at my art table too! OTL OTL OTL

I wanted another deviantART ID picture thing. I keep getting bored of them.
Clothes are based off a recent shopping spree with mom/Shevi, hair is based off of my current Animal Crossing hairstyle (though I sometimes do mine up similar), and squirrel-y features based off of my usual love for squirrels. YAY.

This was just a quick thing… I haven’t been doing a whole lot for art. I haven’t had much for motivation; whenever I’m gluten’d (which.. we think I am, DERP) my motivation and inspiration just gets zapped completely. Uuuuugh it’s driving me insane!!

That’s okay though; I’ve been able to focus a bit on Ai-kon preperations (that don’t need artistic motivation, yay). I’ve also started playing Animal Crossing again… according to the townsfolk, I stopped playing for 3 or so weeks. 8D (I was either too busy or addicted to Harvest Moon lol)

I based her mouth off of a bjd I saw online sometime. While drawing her, I couldn’t remember which she was. After I remembered, and it’s a little like the LE Volks Renee.. ;v; I can’t remember too well though

oAo We’ve actually had a huge rabbit hang around our back yard since Christmas. And by huge I mean huge. It’s like as big as my sister’s dog, Sadie, and she’s… not a huge dog but she’s not toy-sized… @_@;;

Slade finally found a moment to herself, to think back to certain days, where she had different friends and fears than she does now. A cherished time. A time that.. if she had the chance, she’d go back to…

I started working on this last saturday, worked on it off an on, and I finally decided it was finished and postable today. :’D
I was watching some speedpaint videos on youtube (don’t really remember who’s though…) and felt really inspired to paint something after that. It turned out to be an original picture of Slade~ <3

The colours were SO HARD to do though. I had a general idea of what I wanted for a mood; but for the actual colour scheme, I didn’t figure it out until after everything was shaded, basically… X_x It was also really hard because I always paint Slade so darkly – but I wanted the picture to be lighter. So I hope I succeeded.
It might turn out too bright though; now that I’ve uploaded it, it looks way too vibrant compared to the original… grrrr

I also listened to a lot of music that suited mostly; but when it came to put lyrics to the picture none of them did LOL. So weird. D:

One last thing. I can’t guarantee that a scene like this will really happen in the story. Soyeah.

I think I liked working on his face and guitar the most _{(though I do know the neck of the guitar is wrong.. it’s kind of hard to change at this point, but I will be more careful in the future I’M SORRY)}
His body and clothes gave me trouble but that’s nothing new with guys, and I still had fun with it. ;v;
Also tried painting a quick background for a change.

Uh; sorry if the finish on his guitar isn’t what it’s supposed to be. I forgot to ask about it. OTL
I also hope his clothes are okay and hipster-ish enough… I don’t know much about hipster fashion.

Generally, he was fun to work on. So thank you for the art trade, Tori – it really cheered me up. <3 ;v;

Last Thursday, I got to try a kiwifruit for the first time! 8D I really like them. They’re a lot like strawberries and grapes smooshed into one fruit. And they’re visually-appealing~!
It gave me an idea for a kiwi-faerie. 8D I might draw her more seriously, but I really just wanted to draw her design before I forgot it.

Generally I like how she turned out, but the.. see-through fabric stuff.. stuff didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted. I need to experiment more. o3o

According to dA, it has been about a year since I got into the Vocaloid fandom. The first fanart I drew of it was Love Is War fanart, too!
I didn’t draw this new picture to compare, celebrate or anything like that – it sorta just happened coincidentally. 8D;; But it’s still neat, no?

I had a lot of fun with it though, despite the severe lack of colour (which is usually my favourite part of a picture)
Also once again tried different stuff with the hair. I tried focusing more on the lineart for it, and making it.. less like one whole piece of plastic _{(which is usually how it turns out for long hair)} and more wispy? :’D Idk how to explain it, but I think I succeeded a little bit atleast..’

…Though as much fun I had with this, I’m gonna try and focus on other fandoms/original art for a bit now I think.. o_o

I don’t really like Len. I don’t like any of the guy vocaloids. But this song I just adore how their voices go together! ;v; Their designs are also cute and ajsdhsajk I just love this song.

I wanted to make some fanart based off of what would happen if Len came back the next night and nights after~ ^^;;

As for the picture… I don’t really like how it turned out because they’re not really facing each other… OTL derp.
But it’s basically finished, and there are some things I like about it (the hair~) so I figured I might as well post it.
