He’s always there when you need a… lift…?

My friend and I were talking about zhuiyi and they said JingYi is strong enough to easily lift Sizhui when hugging because of all the handstand punishments he’s probably done HAHA
So I drew them because I needed to prepare some new commission samples anyway~

…ALSO I’m so excited the donghua’s going to be subbed and free to watch legally now. AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaa

Well, the Women Made Fullmetal zine has been out for a while so here’s my piece!!
I was chosen to draw Sarah and Pinako Rockbell.

Despite being family, I’m not aware of Sarah and Pinako sharing any scenes in canon, so I had no idea how they would interact or anything… Once I added Winry and Den as their connection, it went much more smoothly. I couldn’t help but think of how many people they helped – even saved – on the Elric brother’s journey. Pinako and Sarah don’t appear as often as other characters, nor are they typically fan favourites, but they were the ones who built a solid foundation for Winry and I wanted to portray that. Without passing down that knowledge, kindness and strength, the story wouldn’t have been the same at all.

Anyway~ Seeing the zine in person was nothing short of amazing, and it’s been an honour working with so many skilled artists to create such a powerful and beautiful book. Thank you everyone for having me in the project!
