MUSIC: “Black★Rock Shooter” feat. Miku Hatsune, by Ryo
(Because I couldn’t find any lyrics to suit this).

This morning I had an urge to draw Black Rock Shooter. There’s probably plenty of mistakes but this was a rather quick drawing, I definitely wasn’t aiming for perfection. u_u;; I like how it looks though so I wanted to post it.

At first I wanted to draw a girl in a shirt with that cat face on it, but it turned into a kinda sassy looking Gwin. ｡^‿^｡ I’m not sure how clear her pose is though, she’s supposed to be pointing to an ear bud, signalling that she can’t hear anything else. So yeah, it’s not perfect, and the anatomy looks off (though I THINK that’s mostly because of the sleeves…) but I’m happy enough with it. ^^;

On another note, I listened to a lot of music while drawing this but the song I listened to the most was an awesome cover of “Stereo Hearts”, I’m not familiar with the original version but a friend linked me to that, and it inspires me to draw Gwin~

This month Shevi and I have been watching Hyouka and really loving it. I like Oreki and Chitanda a lot. I don’t feel like this picture really does them or the series justice though; it went rather quickly and I was lazy with the background. >>;; My favourite part would probably be Chitanda’s hair.

Hopefully I can draw something in the future featuring Satoshi and Mayaka as well as Chitanda and Oreki.
I’m also hoping I can turn this into a speedpaint video later on, I’ve recorded it but haven’t been able to sit down and work on that. If I do finish it, I’ll update this page~

Also, please no spoilers! Shevi and I have only watched up until the Valentines episode. X3 Thank you~
