Something a little more spring-y, I drew it at the same time as my “Dear Winter;” mori sketch I posted earlier. It was drawn with an ordinary pencil, but when I was editing it in Photoshop, I made it green and think it looks really nice.

Hmm, she reminds me of Homura (“Moemura” version…) from Madoka Magica, but there’s no connection. I just wanted to draw a mori girl with glasses I think. u_u lol

Something I drew in December I believe? I’m not too sure, but it’s slightly more recent than some of my sketches lol. And yes, the branches were drawn on one side and copied/pasted to the other side. I had drawn them properly on both sides, but it became really dark and blurry in the scan, so I figured “meh, it’s just a sketch, I’ll just do a quick fix…”

Also, I thought we’d be free of hawks in the winter for some odd reason, but yesterday I saw a red tailed hawk in our backyard. Got a picture to help identify it/prove it was here but it’s not really good enough to upload. Hopefully this hawk doesn’t stick around long. :I

Okay, so my first post of 2014 is…… a quickly drawn Kagepro fanart. Interesting. ouo
Though this is definitely not my first finished/quality picture of 2014, and I’m not really happy with the anatomy, but I suppose it could be worse~

I asked Shevi what Kagepro character I should draw, and she suggested that I draw kid!Kano because she drew a headshot of kid!Kido recently. But I ended up including teen!Kano too, because I was inspired by a reference image she sent me.

His younger self is probably pre-Ayano. He’s a kid who thinks he’s a monster, and hasn’t discovered that there’s more to his powers than being a monster; that the colour red (his eye colour) can be a hero’s colour too.
I drew Kano pretty cheerful as a teenager, that’s how he seems to be in the PVs, even if he’s still concerned about the monster within him. Though with him being such a huge liar, it’s hard to say whether his attitude is a front or if that’s actually how he is. >.>
I’m tempted to draw a matching picture of Kido too, if I find the time~

And for those not familiar with Kano or Kagerou Project I recommend listening to Night Tales Deceive (which I linked to earlier in this post). It’s super awesome, and might clear up some of my random babbles about Kano. Or not. I don’t know. :’D

..uurrrgh April, come faster so I can start watching the Kagepro anime!!
