I did this for my sister. :’3 It’s Meroko (the winged bunny girl) and Mitsuki (the dark haired girl) from Fullmoon o Sagashite, by Arina Tanemura. We both love the series, and it’s about time that I did fan art. 8D

Fun facts:
– We haven’t watched the anime series yet, and either way I prefer the manga colours. But I wanted this to be light and warm, and blacks.. don’t really work in that combination. 8| So I sorta did a slight mix of them.
– The picture’s title is inspired by a chapter title in the manga, “a Kiss for Meroko”. :3
– I think the story in the picture is that Mitsuki noticed that Meroko was feeling depressed about something, and decided to throw a party with lots of yummy treats in an attempt to cheer her up. 8D <3
– I tried adding Takuto and thought about adding Izumi but it didn’t work out very well. :C

^{Also I’m posting this today because it’s very pink and cutesy, and has chocolate, which goes with Valentines.
Neither of us support them as a pairing, just friends.. OTL;;}

I had come to the conclusion that it had been a long time since I had drawn a fairy, and wanted to draw one.. and then I came up with this. :O I know fairies are normally drawn with butterfly/dragonfly wings, and that’s what I had planned to draw.. but I did this instead, and I think it turned out really cutely. <3
I’m also really happy with the background. I was worried that the nest would look too.. low quality or wouldn’t fit in with the picture, but it did! <333
