(Now to come up with a name for her… oh no)

Watching the Perseid meteor shower this summer felt really… ethereal? And I wanted to draw something inspired by it, though by no means does it capture the feeling I had that night.

It’s been a while since I’ve drawn any originals! I thought it’d be a fun challenge to make this super obviously mori-kei, since the fashion is normally associated with nature like trees and flowers, despite the sky being a part of nature too. I like how it turned out ^^

Back to commission samples I drew! This is one of my newer OCs, Dolce’s girlfriend.
I’m still working out her name and design, but she’s based off of a red panda to contrast Dolce’s panda aesthetic~

Happy 1st day of autumn everyone!

I actually drew this a year ago in my sketchbook, but I recently found it again and I’m glad I was able to finish it in time for today, which makes me really happy to be honest. It’s of my OC, Willow. ^^

An experimental drawing of one of my new-ish OCs!! Their name is Dolce and they’re panda themed~
I’ve been having a lot of fun drawing Dolce lately, so you’ll probably see more of this grumpy bear in the future.

September is tomorrow! The month of August both flew by and passed slowly for me… but I’m ready for a new month to begin. And here’s a new self portrait to further that fresh start.

I’ve been wanting to change it since July, not only to match my current watercolour-inspired art style, but also my new haircut I got!! This is the shortest I’ve ever had my hair and honestly, it’s my favourite out of the ones I’ve had, too~

Usually I’m pretty organized. (Or I try really hard to be.)
Alas, this year’s Ai-kon prep wasn’t like that.

Among other issues I had, I realized at the last minute that I didn’t have enough business cards to get through Ai-kon.
And THEN I decided “hey, I want a new design to match my new art style!” so I… drew one. Turns out last-minute business cards aren’t too fun to draw.

That said, I love how it looks (out of the cards I’ve drawn in the past, this one personally suits me the most). I’m glad I did it.

It’s no secret that I dislike winter, but it gets really difficult for me. It’s cold, dark, everything is dreary and the wait for spring long. I’m still waiting for spring to arrive – even just the other day we got another inch or two of snow.
So I wanted to try and give myself a break to draw a bunch of my favourite things to make the wait for spring easier… literally and metaphorically.

On another note, this morning I created a Ko-fi page.
I’m still working on setting it up and figuring out how to use it, but if you like my art and want to support it, feel free to leave me a tip! Every little bit counts and I’d really appreciate the help!!

Well, here’s my final inktober drawing for the year!

I decided to go all out and completely colour my final Inktober… despite that it was Halloween and I had stuff to do… haha. So I finished late last night, posted a photo on Facebook and figured I could just post it today. I have mixed feelings about the results – I mainly feel that I should’ve stuck to my purple colour scheme a bit better, but I’m still happy with it. My favourite part is definitely the owl~!

Sometime this week I’m hoping to post a sort of recap blog for inktober, but I’m not sure.
