I stumbled upon this proverb earlier this year, and I thought it would suit Blathers and Celeste perfectly considering their roles in animal crossing~

Do you prefer cottagecore or fairycore?

My ACNH island naturally turned out to be fairycore, even though I thought cottagecore was more my thing! Funny how that happens sometimes, huh?

This was actually inspired by the new pink mushrooms from the Mario crossover, and the fairy is based off a Rosy Maple Moth~

Over a year ago I saw an adorable teapot-shaped planter… even now I wish I could have bought it, but for now here’s an illustration set inspired by it~

My favourite turned out to be the strawberry cake, but all of these were pretty fun to paint! Drawing something food/plant centered was actually really enjoyable, I’ll probably paint something like this again sometime.

Who are you most excited for in the Sanrio update?
My island residents are planned already, so I’m most excited for the cute outfits and to decorate with the furniture!!
I’m really hoping this means Nintendo will add a Legend of Zelda collab in the future, too~
