Last year, I started a contract to draw mini comics for Scurry & Cover, and the project has finally launched!!

The main comic (drawn by somebody else) updates with a full chapter every 2 months.
In between those two months, the mini comics I’ve drawn will be uploaded every Sunday!

The first chapter and first mini comic is already up, and it’s free to read, so give them a try and check back every Sunday!!! :3

Well. I had been toying with the idea of posting my art book preview today, but I don’t feel like this is the weekend for that. >_> Sooo… here, have more Cardcaptor Sakura fan art! 8D I don’t think I’ve ever drawn this many fanarts for something in such a short time period, yikes

After drawing my last CCS fanart, I wanted to draw a picture with more emphasis on her green eyes. I had planned to draw a strawberry themed picture for that, but I ended up doing something with clovers instead.
I also wanted to draw something SUPER shoujo styled just for kicks. I think I succeeded but I’m not sure how much of it looks like my art? LOL I also used Manga Studio’s pencil a lot more, and instead of line arting the eyes, I just blocked them in with colour to get a softer look.

It would’ve been nice to spend more time on it, but I couldn’t and now it’s time to get back to work.

Now I have L’arc~en~Ciel’s “Good Luck My Way” stuck in my head hehe

I felt inspired and motivated to draw an interior background after talking to sae-midori on deviantart. She suggested that instead of using perspective lines and such, focus on creating depth with colour/shading. So I tried it, and came up with this. /// Thank you so much sae-midori!! : D

I drew this a while back so I don’t remember what I wanted to say about this… e_e
It was drawn in Manga Studio. The only line art was on the character and objects on the shelf; the rest was painted/lineless. And for the subject, I was simply aiming for a sort of cute, mori girl feeling I guess. It was really hard to come up with a title, if somebody has a suggestion let me know. XD;;

Edit:// I just remembered that I had some issues with the pose, and ended up using stock by SenshiStock on dA to fix it.

Another poster I sold at Ai-kon! It’s the first poster that I drew 100% at poster size (11″x17″) and 100% in MangaStudio.
Apparently, it’s also my 100th fanart on dA (that includes other people’s characters, though…)

I really like how it turned out. ;U; I haven’t watched much of the series at all, and I was out of my comfort zone with the extra skin/desert background/Yoko’s gun/details/etc, but despite all that it turned out pretty good in my opinion. The only thing I’m not sure about is their faces; they look both anime and American-styled? Which isn’t bad, just… different. o___o

Anyways, I hope you guys like it too and that you all have/had a great weekend! ♥

One day I was doodling my OC Slade, and then I wanted to test out the screentone options in Manga Studio. So I did. x’D
I don’t really have much to say today, but I’m looking forward to using screentones in the future. :la:

Earlier this year, I had sold out of my old Ciel print. Despite it being old, it sold pretty well so I wanted to replace it with more Kuroshitsuji fan art, particularly something with both Ciel and Sebastian. Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out any ideas for it, and Ai-kon was getting closer and closer, so I simply redrew the print from before. ;U;

I actually intended to just paint over it and fix it up, but there were so many mistakes that I found impossible to ignore, so I redrew it from scratch. I’m quite satisfied with my improvement. It was drawn in Manga Studio. Hopefully I can make a Sebastian print to match (I actually rewatched the first episode of Kuroshitsuji to try and find some inspiration, and I finally like Sebastian now, hm….)

Hey look, it’s a 11″x17″ Poster I drew for Ai-kon this year! For those not familiar with the series, it’s from Beyond the Boundary/Kyokai no Kanata~ x3

This piece has it’s issues, but it’s the first poster I’ve drawn at full size. Also, while I sketched it in Photoshop, I actually did most of the work in Manga Studio 5 EX! The picture took a while to complete due to the fact I was colouring multiple characters and still trying to figure out how to use the picture. Since then, Manga Studio has become my main program, and I really only use Photoshop for post-editing. C:

The Mekakucity Actors made me get the urge to finally draw Seto and Mary together! I’ve shipped them for a short while now, but watching the anime made me want to draw it! ///

Speaking of the anime, I definitely recommend it! It was off to a slow start, I’ll admit, but the character interaction and humor is worth it. <333 And you can watch it on Crunchyroll for free~ If you're not familiar with the song series the anime originated from, I would recommend searching for "Kagerou Project" on Youtube, too. :D I wish I had thought up a better title though; it's based a little bit off the "Imagination Forest" song's lyrics, but I should have really thought it through... oh well.
